Sparkle Club is a friendly social group in Bedford for adults with learning disabilities. We’re looking for volunteers (aged 16+) to set up and help with our fun weekly sessions full of games, crafts, and connection. Volunteering with us is a great way to gain experience, meet new people, and boost your own wellbeing. You don’t need any special skills, just kindness, patience, and a willingness to get involved.

Bedford Mencap Playscheme is looking for volunteers aged 14 and over to support children and young people during the summer. The playscheme, which supports children aged 4–18 with a variety of additional needs, offers a fun and rewarding opportunity to get involved.

Sparkle Club Coordinator
Bedford Mencap is seeking a term-time coordinator for Sparkle Club. Sparkle Club is a social club for adults with learning disabilities held every Tuesday and Wednesday evening during term time at Putnoe Primary School in Bedford.
Responsibilities will include planning and delivering regular activities including bingo, colouring, jigsaws, craft activities, pool and karaoke, as well as special events such as discos. The Coordinator will also recruit, train and support Sparkle Club volunteers at each session.
